The Best Rub

This rub is perfect for pork, chicken, and beef, and it takes wonderfully delicious.  It makes enough to save for another delicious meal.  so go get your rub on!

Recipe:  1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 T ground black pepper, 1 T kosher salt, 1 1/2 garlic powder, 1 t dry mustard powder, 1/2 t ground ginger, 1/2 t onion powder, 1/2 t red pepper flakes, 1/2 t cayenne pepper, 1/2 t ground cumin, 1/2 t smoked paprika, 1/4 t dried thyme leaves, 1 (2 1/2 lb boneless pork loin roast, or chicken or beef);

mix all ingredients together. Rub spice mixture over pork loin and wrap tightly in plastic wrap . Place pork or meat on a 9 x13 inch baking dish and refrigerate for 4 hours to overnight. 

Preheat oven to 350; remove plastic wrap from meat and place in baking dish, 

Bake in oven until pork is slightly pink in the center about 50 minutes. instant temperature reading should read at least 145 degrees. Cover meat loosely with aluminum foil and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
